Keystone Root Cause Intensive™
A Focused, All-Inclusive Path to Answers for Complex Health Concerns
At Keystone Total Health, the Keystone Root Cause Intensive™ is an immersive functional care program designed for individuals with complex, chronic health concerns, particularly those navigating mold illness, Lyme disease, and other conditions requiring a root-cause approach.

Located in Columbia, Tennessee, and serving the greater Nashville area, the Intensive is also a national destination program, with clients traveling from across the United States to work with experienced, mold- and Lyme-literate practitioners. This program brings together in-depth assessment, personalized lab evaluation, practitioner-guided analysis, and daily therapeutic support within a focused timeframe, allowing underlying drivers of illness to be identified and addressed efficiently.

Many clients arrive after years of fragmented care. The Keystone Root Cause Intensive™ is designed to replace guesswork with clarity, structure, and informed direction.
What Is the Keystone Root Cause Intensive™?
The Keystone Root Cause Intensive™ is a 1-, 2-, or 3-week immersive functional care program recommended based on each client’s individual needs and clinical complexity. Throughout the Intensive, clients meet daily (Monday through Thursday) with a practitioner, while also participating in five days per week of targeted supportive therapies.

This structure allows practitioners to observe patterns as they unfold, reassess frequently, and adjust care in real time—something that is often impossible with spaced-out appointments.

Our Primary Specialties Include:
-
Inflammation & Autoimmunity
Identifying immune triggers, inflammatory drivers, and system imbalances contributing to chronic symptoms.
-
Hormone Imbalances
Evaluating stress response, metabolic function, nutrient status, and signaling pathways that influence hormonal health.
-
Lyme Disease
Supporting individuals with suspected or known tick-borne illness by assessing infections, immune function, and systemic stressors.
-
Mold Illness (CIRS)
Addressing biotoxin exposure, impaired detoxification, and chronic inflammatory response patterns.
-
Complex Pediatric Conditions (PANS/PANDAS)
Supporting children with neuroimmune conditions through a comprehensive, root-cause-focused framework.
-
Chronic Fatigue & Low Energy
Investigating mitochondrial dysfunction, nutrient depletion, inflammation, and chronic stress contributors.
-
Gut & Digestive Issues
Assessing digestive function, microbiome balance, immune activation, and gut-brain connections.
-
Mineral Imbalances & Toxic Load
Evaluating mineral status and environmental exposures that impact cellular function and resilience.

A Mold and Lyme Literate Functional Care Model

Empowering You to Thrive
Many individuals seeking care for mold illness or Lyme disease struggle to find practitioners who understand how environmental exposures, infections, immune activation, detoxification capacity, and nervous system regulation intersect.

The Keystone Root Cause Intensive™ is intentionally designed around a mold- and Lyme-literate functional care framework. Rather than focusing on isolated symptoms or diagnoses, practitioners evaluate how multiple systems are interacting, and why the body has been unable to recover.
This approach is particularly important for clients with:

-
Ongoing exposure-related illness
-
Persistent inflammation or immune dysregulation
-
Sensitivity to medications or supplements
-
Symptoms affecting multiple systems simultaneously

How the Intensive Is Structured
The Keystone Root Cause Intensive™ is built around close practitioner access, comprehensive assessment, and integrated therapeutic support.

Daily Practitioner Appointments
Clients meet with a practitioner daily, Monday through Thursday, throughout the Intensive. These appointments allow time to:

-
Review symptom changes and responses
-
Interpret lab findings as they become available
-
Identify patterns related to mold illness, Lyme disease, or toxic burden
-
Adjust recommendations based on real-time feedback
-
Provide education so clients understand why certain patterns exist
This level of access is particularly valuable for complex cases where subtle shifts provide important insight.

Personalized Lab Evaluation for Mold, Lyme, and Complex Illness
Each Intensive includes a custom lab package, selected based on the individual’s history, symptoms, and goals. Testing is never standardized or protocol-driven.
Lab evaluation may explore contributors such as:

-
Immune and inflammatory signaling
-
Stress response and hormone regulation
-
Gut and digestive function
-
Mineral balance and nutrient status
-
Detoxification capacity and toxic load
-
Patterns associated with mold illness (CIRS) and Lyme disease
The goal is not to chase abnormal values, but to understand root-cause patterns that explain why symptoms persist.

Therapeutic Support During the Intensive
Alongside practitioner appointments and lab analysis, the Keystone Root Cause Intensive™ includes five days per week of supportive therapies, selected to assist regulation, recovery, and resilience, particularly for clients under significant physiological stress from mold, Lyme, or chronic inflammation.
Therapies may include:

-
Computer Regulated Thermography (CRT)
-
Therapeutic massage
-
Infrared sauna sessions
-
Detox ionic foot baths
-
Neurofeedback
-
Cold laser therapy
-
E-Stim therapy
-
Red light therapy
-
Supplement credit for personalized support
These therapies are used strategically, not generically, and are adjusted as the body responds.

How Long Is the Intensive?
The Keystone Root Cause Intensive™ is offered in 1-, 2-, or 3-week formats, based on practitioner recommendation. Duration is determined by factors such as symptom complexity, length of illness, mold or Lyme exposure history, and the number of systems involved.

Some clients benefit from a shorter, focused evaluation, while others require additional time to safely address deeper patterns.

Although Keystone Total Health is based in Columbia, TN, serving the greater Nashville area, the Keystone Root Cause Intensive™ is designed for clients nationwide. Many individuals travel specifically to work with complex chronic illness, PANS/PANDAS, mold and Lyme literate practitioners in an immersive setting, then continue care with virtual or in-person follow-ups as appropriate.

This model allows for intensive, in-person evaluation while maintaining flexibility for long-term support.
